Yep, that is right. Taylor is going to be a big sister. We are expecting a little boy in April. We are so excited. We are going to name him Mason Nicholas. Taylor loves babies so hopefully she will love this one when it does not leave.
We had a fun weekend in Utah. We went to Dinosaur Park in Odgen and to Hogle Zoo. Tay loved every minute of it. It sure was hot (102) but it sure was worth it.
Can I just tell everyone what a great husband I have. He stayed home and watched Tay while I went to Hawaii with my mom and sister-in-law. We went to visit my sister and bothers that are over there working for the summer. It was so fun. Thanks Nick for letting me go.
Sorry it has been so long since I have last updated this. A lot has been going on. Easter was a blast. Tay made us hide the eggs for her to find four times. Then Nick graduated with his Bachelor degree in Zoology. We are so proud of him. Closing one chapter to start another four years of school. Then we went to Island Park/Yellowstone for a week. It was a nice break. We seen lots of animals in Yellowstone (two bears, big horn sheep, a wolf, and lots of other animals). There are pics below to show our last couple of months.
Nick finally got his letter from ISU's Pharmacy program. After a long week of waiting we got an envelope and it was an acceptance letter!!!! WAY TO GO NICK!!! We now have a light at the end of the tunnel of school. Just four more years and then Nick will be bringing home the paychecks :)
I cannot believe that my baby turned two. My how the last two years have flown. Taylor loves Whinnie the Pooh so we had to make a Pooh cake. We would also like to thank Nick's parents for the ketchup. As long as it does not get dumped on me we should be okay. It will just help her addiction. Tay also got a bike which she loves. I can't wait until it warms up so she can ride it outside. our apartment is to small to ride around in but she still tries.
Well, I think this event tops the ketchup episode. We were at my cousin's wedding this last week and Taylor was having a ball playing with the other kids. I was helping clean up when Andy came and told me that Tay was in the boys bathroom. As I was going to get her here she came down the hall all wet. I was informed that not only playing in the toilet she was drinking out of the boys toilet. YUCK! YUCK! Needless to say she got a bath in the sink and luckily I had an extra pair of clothes for her. So if you are ever in a church make sure that all of the bathroom doors are shut or you might be the lucky person giving your toddler a bath in the church sink.
I just had to tell everyone about Taylor's love for kethcup. Here is an example of how much she loves it. We were eating at Arby's yesterday and the only thing she was eating were her fries with lots and lots of kethcup on them. I wanted her to eat her sandwich so I took her cup of kethcup away from her. She got so mad that as I was taking it away that she threw a fit and hit the kethcup cup out of my hand. (The cup was filled to the top.) It went all over me. I had kethcup from my neck to my knees. I even had it in my hair. Nick said the look on my face was one that could kill. Luckily for Taylor there were other people in the restaurant or she would of been dead. I just looked at Tay and told Nick lets go. Because I was headed to work I had to go and buy a new shirt. Luckily I did not have my scrubs on or I would of had to buy a whole new outfit. The whole night at work I kept smelling kethcup. So the moral of the story is not to EVER take Tay's kethcup away from her.
