Mason Man.

I cannot believe that my little man is 14 months old. He is just a joy in our lives. We sit and laugh at him all of the time. He is a VERY busy little boy. He gets into anything and everything thing. Mason loves to play with balls and cars. He will walk around the house with a car going vroommmm. Taylor is his best bud. She is the first thing he looks for when he wakes up in the morning. He can say mom, dada, papa, cheese, ball, and uh-oh.

Converstation with Taylor

Me: Mom and Mason are getting in the shower.

Tay: Why?

Me: Because I stink.

Tay: Did you poop?

Me: No, I just stink.

Isn't it funny how kids associtate things we say. She thinks that becasue everytime Mason has a poopy diaper I say "Mason Man you poopy boy you stink."

Tumbling Recital

Taylor took tumbling this year. Mya and her friend Shay were in her class. She has learned to do somersaults. She is working on cartwheels, back bends, and handstands. For their recital they did a cute routine to "Who Let the Dogs Out" She did her somersaults so fast I don't think that her head even touched the ground.

Dance Recital

This past year was Taylor's first year taking ballet and tap. Her dance teacher was a Jessica Malcom(a gal I work with). She loved going to dance. If she was still sleeping when it was time to get ready to leave I just had to say it was time to go to dance and she would jump out of bed. For their dance recital they did a Hawaiian dance to the song "He mele no lilo" for ballet and for tap they danced to the song "Wonderful World of Yes." She was so cute.

Las Vegas

May 7-8, 2011

We were able to spend a weekend in Vegas with Nick's sister Erica's family and brother Matt and his wife Rachel. It was fun to get away for a couple of days. We stayed in a condo away from all of the commotion of the strip. We left Mason with my parents. We did not think that he would like riding in a car for ten hours. I am sure his little wild self had way more fun with grandma and grandpa.

Nick went to Supercross.

Shark reef aquarium

We went to the shark reef aquarium. Taylor and Mya loved it. They were able to see sharks, fish and a sea turtle. They also got to touch the sting rays.

Hoover Dam

We drove out to see Hoover dam. It was neat to see but also VERY windy. You had to be careful or the wind would blow you away.

Swimming

Can I just say that Mason loves the water! He would get mad when it was time to get out of the pool. He loves to sit on the edge of the pool and jump in. That kid is being put in swimming lessons as soon as he is old enough. Do you like the tattoo on his arm?

Easter

Taylor Had fun and the Inkom Easter Egg Hunt. She got so many eggs that they did not all fit in her basket. We will have to make sure to take a bigger one next year.

They Easter bunny spoiled the kids. Taylor got a new bike and Mason got a new suit. Isn't he a handsome devil?
